DARI 3D Scan of Your Full Body in Motion
Shoreline Orthopaedics offers DARI Motion—a 3D digital motion capture system that scans your body’s movement from multiple angles simultaneously.
DARI Motion gives us deeper insight into your motion health by allowing us to see and measure your ability to move from different perspectives within minutes. By identifying specific areas that need more attention, DARI helps us provide a more personalized, targeted plan of care. We’re better able to track your progress, adjust your rehabilitation exercises, monitor the effectiveness of treatments, and guide your care toward improved motion health.
- No sensors or markers to be placed on the body
- FDA-cleared
- Patented technology and process
- Scientifically validated kinematics and kinetics
Scientifically validated and clinically proven, DARI is the only motion-capture technology approved by the FDA.
After scanning your full body in motion with its eight high-speed cameras, the DARI system uses advanced algorithms to combine the resulting images into a 3D representation of the body. DARI’s software quickly assesses human movement, analyzing performance, mobility, alignment, force, and sway before sending validated data and insights to the cloud in under 20 seconds.

What Should You Wear for Your DARI Assessment?
Dress in dark, solid colors and choose comfortable clothing and shoes that allow easy movement. For the best analysis, avoid anything that’s loose or baggy. Do not wear green because it can interfere with motion capture.
What Should You Expect During the DARI Scan?
You’ll be given a specific set of exercises to perform while DARI’s cameras capture your movements and the software records your data. You’ll receive feedback on your motion quality, performance, and joint vulnerability, along with specific recommendations.
What Happens After Your Screening is Complete?
One of our experts will review the scan results with you, identifying areas of emphasis and next steps to help you enhance your performance, avoid injury, reduce pain, or improve recovery.
